BBB Limited
availability in the UK. Soon to be the oldest English trade mark
in current use and the first pipe ever to have a registered trade
mark. The initials once stood for Blumfeld’s Best Briars after
Louis Blumfeld, who took over the management of the Adolph Frankau
Company in 1856. After his death, the BBB gradually became known
as Britain’s Best Briars.
Comoys First
established in 1825 and continues to be at the forefront of the
British pipe industry, with an unsurpassed reputation the world
over for its experience and dedication to quality and craftsmanship.
This is the flagship brand of Cadogan and represents excellent value
for money.
Dr. Plumb The
UK volume leader, sister brand to GBD and probably one of the world’s
best sellers since its introduction in 1925.
Kaywoodie An
American brand established in 1851, famous for its ‘Synchro-Stem’
screw mouthpiece with combined metal filter. Manufactured for the
UK, by Cadogan.
GBD Created
in Paris in 1850 by three master pipe makers: Ganneval, Bondier
& Donninger. The brand gained a record
15 Medal awards at international exhibitions. Availability in the
UK is limited.
L&CO The
hallmark of perfection since its introduction by Emile Loewe in
1856 in his shop-come-workshop, No. 58 Haymarket, London W1. Limited
availability in the UK.
Orlik From 1899,
Orlik pipes and smokers’ sundry items became synonymous with
quality and service. This tradition continues today but with a limited
product range.
